What the directory is

Every listing answers the same questions in the same order: what the tool does, how it is licensed, what pricing tier it falls into, whether the vendor publishes prices at all, which compliance frameworks it covers, where it runs, which regions it serves and when the facts were last checked. Renewable energy tools add the assets they cover, such as solar, wind, storage or grid.

The point of the shared structure is comparison. Two tools can be read side by side without opening two pricing pages, and any claim on a listing can be traced back to the vendor page it came from.

How the record is kept

Listings are only published once their fields have been read from the vendor's own pages, and each one carries the sources used and the date of the last check. Corrections arrive from vendors and readers alike, and every correction is re-verified before it changes a listing.

How it is funded

Two sources: labelled sponsorship placements, and affiliate or referral links on vendors that run a public partner programme. Both are marked on the pages where they appear. Neither changes the recorded facts, the verification date or the order of results.

A vendor cannot buy a category, a top position or a favourable conclusion. Sponsored listings are labelled as such, outbound links that carry a commission are marked as sponsored, and listings without any commercial relationship are recorded the same way as those with one.

Vendors can submit a tool, claim a listing or ask about sponsorship.
